A partnership built on safety

In freeriding, the unpredictability of the terrain – from shifting weather conditions to avalanche risk – demands preparation. As a safety partner, we'll equip riders, staff, and media with our avalanche safety gear, including transceivers, shovels, probes, airbags, and backpacks. We'll also share our expertise through safety workshops to ensure that everyone has the skills and knowledge they need to move with confidence.

A global stage for adventure

The Freeride World Tour brings the world’s best freeriders to legendary ski destinations – from the towering peaks of Verbier to the rugged slopes of Haines, Alaska. Don’t miss the action as our partnership kicks off at the Freeride World Tour opening event in Baqueira Beret, Spain, from January 16 to 21, 2026.

The Freeride World Tour (FWT) is the pinnacle of the freeride scene, where the sport's top athletes come together to compete. Across six events, nearly 60 skiers and snowboarders seek out the most spectacular lines, showcasing the very best of freeride skiing and snowboarding. In the 2024/25 season, Mammut is joining the tour for the first time as an official safety partner, bringing its expertise and top-tier avalanche equipment to the competition.
