Gary Ozeray fulfills his dream and combines mountaineering, trail running, and climbing into a 12-hour monster tour around Lake Annecy. On this alpine marathon, he is supported by his friends, who take it in turns to accompany him.

Stunning mountain range with jagged rocky peaks at sunset, overlooking a lush forested valley and a serene lake in the distance; perfect terrain for Mammut outdoor adventure gear.
La Ligne du Lac with Gary Ozeray directed by Tom Apeloig

La Ligne du Lac is a captivating project brought to life by French Mammut athlete and alpine all-rounder Gary Ozeray. It involves crossing the peaks above Lake Annecy, with the majority of the route running along ridges and requiring experience in climbing and mountaineering as well as strong surefootedness. This 45-kilometer adventure – which Gary completed in 12 hours – includes 15 peaks and 4700 meters of elevation gain. But Gary's project is not just about pushing himself physically. Although it was essentially a solo project, Gary shared the unique experience with a group of friends who accompanied him along the way, supporting and motivating him time and time again. La Ligne du Lac is a 100% alpine adventure and combines trail running, climbing, and mountaineering with friendship and plenty of positive energy.
