"Ich bin absolut begeistert vom Mammut Ducan, der Schuh sieht in natura genial aus – extrem modern, sportlich und optisch sehr ansprechend. Die Verarbeitung ist Mammut-typisch auf höchstem Niveau. Obwohl der Schuh eine sehr robuste und stabile Konstruktion bietet, ist er erstaunlich bequem. Die Dämpfung ist äußerst angenehm auch auf längeren Touren fühlle ich mich rundum wohl. Eine klare Kaufempfehlung für alle, die eine gelungene Kombination aus Stabilität, Stil und hervorragendem Gehkomfort suchen!"

Great walking shoes

"So far, the mixed terrain I’ve been using the shoes for, they have been great. For me, the shoes need some ‘breaking in’ to be 100% comfortable- but I do admit being extremely particular with footwear! Take your time to lace the shoes properly (including positioning the tongue), adjust as/if necessary and I fully expect these shoes to soon be “a pair of my best friends”. For the fit, I mark them ‘too small’ as I had to go up 1/2 size from other Mammut shoes. That said, it is indeed a very individual opinion."

"Llevo varias semanas rodando estas zapatillas en preparación para el Camino Primitivo, con la Variante de los Hospitales incluida. El terreno de entrenamiento ha sido intencionalmente variado y exigente: asfalto, senderos de tierra, roca granítica costera húmeda, arena, zonas pantanosas y cascajo. El agarre Vibram XS Trek en roca húmeda es simplemente superlativo — nunca me ha fallado en superficies que serían peligrosas con otro calzado. El sistema FLEXTRON se nota especialmente en las bajadas, donde la estabilidad del antepié marca diferencia. Al principio noté algo de rigidez en el upper lateral — normal en una zapatilla nueva con Gore-Tex — que desapareció progresivamente con el rodaje. Talla 44 correcta para pie de 27,4 cm con margen suficiente en puntera. Después de 35+ km acumulados en terreno costero gallego, ninguna ampolla, ninguna lesión. Los pies respiran razonablemente bien para una zapatilla impermeable. Una zapatilla seria, para uso serio. Completamente recomendada para caminos de montaña exigentes."
