"Bought these for a backpacking and trekking trip in Iceland. Wire them for hours on end in the rain, snow, wind and even nice weather! They are so packable, breathable but kept me completely dry. They were perfect as a top layer over tights for chilly days to cut the wind (40s Farenheit, 5-10 m/s winds). A little trouble getting them over my shoes despite the longer zip bottom. Very tight at the ankles and can ride up when I say down but easy to adjust. Love these pants, so happy I got them. I tried several other brands with very nice products like salmon, mountain hardwear, North face, and patagonia but these won out on fit, durability, comfort, non-crunchiness/quiet walking and breathability."
