Walked 90k in the Cotswolds
"Walked 90k in the Cotswolds with this backpack fully loaded and it was super enjoyable. Excellent balance, provides space for aeration in the back, lots of space. Wonderful. Stripes allow for perfect fit and for short people is critical."

Toller Rucksack
"Super Rucksack. Leicht, viele einzeltaschen um Ordnung zu halten, aber nicht überladen, gute Größe. Schlau, dass es einen warnfarbenen Regenüberzug beim Rucksack gleich mit dazu gibt."

Perfect balance of comfort and capacity
"I’m very happy with the Lithium 40. The pack sits comfortably even on longer hikes and the weight distribution with the hip belt works really well. The back system ventilates nicely and feels stable even when the pack is fully loaded.
I especially like the practical layout with easy access to the main compartment and the side pockets. The material feels durable and well built, which is exactly what I expect from Mammut gear.
For day hikes, longer tours and carrying extra gear like camera or drone equipment, the 40L size is perfect for me. Overall a very comfortable and versatile backpack."

Does this bag have a compartment at the bottom of the bag for like a small shelter
Hi Nathan,
yes, there is a detachable bottom compartment - can be accessed from outside
- Barbara
Does the Lithium 40 have back panel access like the trion series?
Hi Greg,
no, it doesn't (due to the V-fram).
