"I absolutely love that jacket! It is surprisingly warm for that it is so thin and light: perfect to stay warm during a break while hiking or on a chilly day! I have also the Eiger Nordwand Advanced ML Jacket (in orange) and together they are the perfect layering-system during intense activities like hiking with a heavy backpack. It fits true to size and is very stretchable. I have really long arms for my size (5’9“ / 155lbs) and I love that Mammut cuts with long arms to keep the pulse/wrist nicely covered even when you stretch your arms out. Great product - would totally recommend it!"

2025/26 Massive Quality Drop and Cheap Material

"The 2025/26 version is a major downgrade compared to the previous year’s model. The overall quality feels extremely cheap from the moment you open the package. The fabric is low-grade polyester with a strong petrol-like chemical smell that does not inspire confidence at all. Instead of feeling durable or premium, the material feels synthetic, and unpleasant to wear. The zippers are another huge disappointment. They are clearly the cheapest possible type, and even the zipper pulls look unfinished, using simple knots instead of proper tags or hardware. Small details like this make the whole product feel poorly manufactured and rushed. Compared to the previous year’s version, the difference in quality is shocking. The older model felt much better constructed and significantly more premium. This 2025/26 variant feels like a cost-cutting exercise in every possible area. Overall, a very disappointing product and a clear step backwards from the manufacturer."
