Cool weather soft shell
"Does a great job cutting the wind, roomy enough for a light fleece midlayer. Wool blend lining adds some warmth but also heft. Plenty durable, with zip side pockets that create inner mesh stashes. Chest pocket has good capacity. Tapered elastic cuffs are versatile, accommodating different types of gloves without being fussy. Double slider zips are more versatile but this jacket has a single slider, probably because of a shorter hem cut."

Good quality . Nice fit
"This is my first time to order this jacket from Mammut website. I am very happy about this purchase. The jacket is not only looking good but also very comfortable. Can’t wait to wear it for the next hiking trip."

Well made but fit is off
"First off I would like to say that the jacket itself looks good and well made, however the cut of it is strange. It fit rather oddly on my husband who is a solid M in Mammut products (jacket we purchased is also a M). The body fit ok but the arms were too slim and the armpits were too small/tight. Wish it could have worked out because it looks like a great jacket."

love it!
"inside lining is somewhere between grid lining and no lining at all. Maintains some warmth & comfort on bare skin while still allowing it to be easily worn over midlayers. haven't done anything super aerobic with it yet, but one of my favorite jackets right now."

Perfect softshell jacket
"I'm 186cm, but slim, with long torso and arms so I grabbed the XL. It fits perfectly, even when I moved around. Tested in outdoor environment and the jacket still doing great. The fabric feels amazing, all stitches look great as well, and it also has high quality zipper."

Very good quality
"I have an L in the yellow and XL in black (both purchased on sale), i use the black one for colder days with something thicker underneath. The jackets do stretch a bit, i really like the equality. Didn't have time to test them on a hike yet. The sizing chart on the website is accurate, the L is a big tight under my armpits, the XL has longer sleeves but more space overall. Very happy with my the purchases."

Comfort and windproof
"First — love the color - Aura, I think it is called. The fit is great (I am short and wide shouldered — got xl). Not as warm as expected based on the rating but it is crazy windproof. If layered up this jacket works in colder weather. Light layers you might feel cool but not cold. Overall a great jacket."

Perfect for Texas Winters
"North Texas winters can be really cold, but not as cold as up north except the occasional snow storm which makes this Mountain Pro 2. 0 soft shell jacket perfect for Texas winters (most of the time, also fall and spring).
Love the looks and fit of the jacket that come with Mammut legendary quality giving you the best bang for buck"

Brilliant piece of tech
"I'm a bit of a gear junkie and am forever in pursuit of the ideal jacket. This one fits nicely into the quiver when robust rain/wind protection is called for. The material beads for a time and then appears to wet out BUT. . . after taking the jacket off, the next layer (usually merino) is perfectly dry. The lining in the jacket allows the water-facing layer to be wet while not sending it towards your next layer. It's a tough material and isn't super light. But the weight is the kind of weight you want. . . it's robustness versus extra grams because of cheap material or whatever. The only thing I don't love about it is that the cut feels like a formal sport jacket, like the back will tighten when raising my arms forward or high, like in an aggressive cycling position. This could likely be mitigated by sizing up but the fit is spot on otherwise so I accept this to keep the fit ideal for torso & arm length. The stretch helps a bit. I haven't had an extended > 3hour rain session yet but this thing will surely do quite nicely. I really like the material and cut of this thing. It 5'11" and 160lbs, I can fit several wool layers under no worries."

I love the jacket, but the description is inaccurate.
"The description mentions it being Polyamide (nylon). and having a wool blend lining. The details are accurate. It is Polyester with elastane exterior and polyester/viscose blend lining. Still a handsome, well built and functional jacket but the description needs updating."
