"I have another 60m mammut crag classic that I use for outdoor sport climbing, but wanted another one for gym climbing. I had gotten another brand because it was cheaper, but the sheath got fuzzy way too quickly. I bought another cheaper name-brand rope, but it was super stiff and got twisted super easily. People thought it was a semi-static! So now I'm back to Mammut and will never look elsewhere again."
"Excellent rope for climbing. Smooth sheath however I wish the middle was marked a little better."
"Mammut just makes good rope!"
"I've worked with several different brands of climbing ropes, and tend to prefer ropes in the range of 9. 6-9. 8 mm for durability and peace of mind. This rope feeds great, lasts a good while, and provides good value for the money."
"Fantastic value for an outdoor rope. Can't speak on durability yet. All other facets it does not disappoint. Supple out of the packaging. Easy to handle. No twisting. Only thing I'd say is the bi-pattern isn't extremely apparent. As soon as you note the differences, its easy to see from that point forward."
"Can't go wrong with the Mammut classic crag rope! I think in the 5 years I've climbed I've only bought Mammut's - great stuff!"
"This rope feels super great feeding through my device when belaying and feels super durable. Falls have already been taken on the rope and I expect that it will take many more. I have used Mammut ropes in the past and will continue to use their gear. Perfect for a newer climber or those working on an outdoor project."
"It’s a durable strong rope. Highly recommend"
