Ontworpen voor de koudste, winderigste dagen in de bergen. Snel drogend en ademend, deze bivakmuts is gemaakt van een Windstopper, 3-laags softshell materiaal. Toegevoegde stretch en een anatomische snit zorgen voor een nauwsluitende pasvorm die veel bewegingsvrijheid biedt. Bij het navigeren van blootgestelde alpiene kammen in uitdagende omstandigheden, biedt de Bivakmuts Arctic WS bescherming.

Will only fit a few

"90% of my gear is Mammut and overall very happy with the brand but this one is a miss. Two major issues: Size: very small (I wear S helmets but here it is too tight The nose hole: it does not protect the nose and it comes out (dont have a flat nose but not a long one either) I bought this one for an expedition in the Arctic but would not imagine being at -25°c with my nose sticking out like this. Can't comment on the materials as I did not test it, but it looks fine 👌 Sad for the fitting. . ."

Good in general but too tight

"I wish this would come in at least two different sizes. It’s sitting very tight and pressuring my nose. From -10 C and wind it’s still very good to have. One of the only balaclavas available with decent holes so it doesn’t get soggy and icy immediately. I got a head circumference of about 60 cm. For hat and helmets I usually take the lager size"

tester en Laponie.

"Bonjour, je tenais d'abord à préciser que j'ais utiliser cette cagoule au dessus du cercle polaire ( nord de la Finlande) et en janvier ( -37 en journée et -20 le soir au plus chaud). Cette dernière est Plutôt bien élastique ,reste bien en place et confortable, elle apporte également un confort supplémentaire en isolation. Le Système d'aération ( pour le nez ) laissa passer trop de fraicheur. A un moment l'intérieur de la cagoule à geler au niveau du menton , un peu gênant avec les températures extérieurs du moment. Si je l'aurais tester en dessous du cercle polaire je lui aurais donc mi minimum 4."
