#1 Ski Touring Pant
"Unless is warm or spring, these are my go-to touring pants. Very durable and perfect weight for winter ski touring. Mammut is one of few companies that make pants in long lengths for tall folks like myself. Thank you Mammut!"

The Taiss Pro SO Pants Men are praised for their perfect fit and well-worth price. Customers appreciate the suspenders for movement and preventing pant sag. Opinions vary on the pockets, with some finding them great while others wish they were bigger.

"Excellent touring, mountaineering, and even resort pants. Used them on everything from Mt. Elbert in -5 degrees to Dragon's Tail Couloir in 20 degrees to Resort Skiing in 50. Super light and comfortable. I got the 30 Long at 6'6 and about a 31 waist, fits super well. Have used them probably 30 days and am not seeing any signs of wear. Definitely looking to Mammut for my next outdoor gear haul! Would buy again."
"Just wore these for the first time while spending a whole day skiing in Vermont’s Mt. Snow. I love how stretchy and lightweight they are. Fit is great. I love the short length option as I am a much shorter male. The design is fantastic. Love the suspenders and harness compatible pockets (which will come in handy for ice climbing), but more importantly I love the design of the reinforced inner ankle cuffs and the gaiter design. Lots of adjustability within the gaiters and they stay put!"
"I wanted a windproof ski touring pant that was stretchable and warm for use on those days when the powder was shallow or non existent. These pants fit the bill perfectly. They allow freedom of movement while being lightweight for long touring days. Typical of Mammut, the fit is slender."
"These pants fit well, stretch with movement, and I like the dark blue color. I took them out nordic skiing on some cooler days and they worked great. Once we get a little more snow, I am confident that they will work well for telemark touring. Lightweight and protective easy to deal with ski pantss. just what I was hoping to get."
"Wore these snowboarding in the Alps. Needed something light to pack (as I only travel with a carry-on bag). I paired with a Kühl mid-weight base layer. Yes…I know they are a ski-touring pant. Pros: Lightweight, comfortable, flexible, had good side ventilation zippers. Nice boot hook on the ankle when hiking in snow. Cons: Snug over snowboarding boots, but still worked (and again I know this is not the intended use of the pants). Did not get wet from sitting on the snow to strap in to my board. However…I wore them sledding (45-minute long toboggan run in the night, while it was snowing)… I got wet through the swat of the pants. To be fair, it was a lot of snow and the pants aren’t designed for that. Fit: I am a true 34x36 in US sizing (34 usually gives me a little wiggle room, 6’4” /195) ……. if you are a 34 and plan to wear a base layer…. . BUY THE 36. I had bought the 36L and they fit perfect. Great length and have Velcro waist to adjust if needed. The 34 would fit…but would be very snug with a base layer)."

"I’ve been using the Taiss Pro SO Pants Men throughout the entire ski season as well as for various mountain hikes, and they are absolutely amazing. They are incredibly versatile — I simply adjust the warmth with different base layers depending on the temperature. On colder days I wear thicker thermal underwear, and on milder days a lighter layer is enough. The pants themselves provide great protection against wind and cold while remaining comfortable and flexible. In heavy snow, the fabric can absorb some moisture, but they have never completely soaked through. Of course, they’re not Gore-Tex, so that’s to be expected. Despite that, they’ve always kept me sufficiently dry and comfortable. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied. These are by far the best winter pants I’ve ever owned. Highly recommended for skiing and mountain adventures!"
"Outstanding performance my recent Volcano climb at 3400 meters above sea level; keep me warm while allowing transpiration in high output climb"
"Excellent pants that shed rain and wind. Very comfortable and bit warmer than other Mammut pants, although they are much lighter than my Zinal Guide pants. I’m very happy with this purchase."
