"I used this jacket for my last season of ice and skiing as my main outer layer and it performed well. The jacket kept me dry even in wet conditions and blocked wind as well as water. It replaced the need for a hard shell as an outer layer."
"Light and was effective at protecting from wind and frozen precipitation. Dried well with body heat when temperatures were above 20F. Internal pockets for snacks and electronics. External pockets for more snacks, inReach tracker and whatnot. Harness fit was perfect for under my pulk harness. The only drawback for my purposes was the high neck fabric around the zipper collected moisture, particularly when paired with a balaclava or sewn in goggle Arctic barrier. This resulted in the fabric becoming very stiff and uncomfortable at subzero temperatures."
