"These shorts are great on the trail or walking through a city. The adjustable waistband lets one skip a belt if desired, although I'm not sure how long the elastic would hold up in that situation. Zippered pockets are great but beware the back pocket - it's shallow enough that a wallet will easily fall out when sitting down if that pocket is unzipped."
