Advice you’d give your younger self

Most things you worry about never even become reality, focus on the now.

One thing you still want to experience.

Enlightenment.

Your favorite mountain

The Sierra of course are my all time fave, but the Limestone Alps of Austria really hold a special place in my heart.

Your hidden talent

My ability to manifest things.

What you wanted to be when you grew up

A rock climber.

A moment you’ll never forget

Encountering two mountain lions and a black bear on the same night leaving my climbing project.

Your role model

Jackie Joyner-Kersee was always my role model as a young person, she still remains prominent in my mind, Catherine Destivelle in the world of climbing has always inspired me to master movement and mind, and Founder of Aikido, Morihei Ueshiba.

What you love most about climbing

The nature places my sport brings me to above all else and the beauty of movement and self-expression it allows. The thing that I'm really fascinated by with hard free climbing is the way we start to essentially become adapted to our environment - adapted to the moves - aligning mind and body.

Something you learned from sports

Patience, perseverance, mental strength and calmness, self-care and what dedication means.

Your top tip for other climbers

If you're not enjoying it, its not worth it.

Something you’re often asked – and the answer

What's your favorite climb? That's too impossible to say.

Your message to the outdoor community

Find your connection to yourself and to nature, and learn to see the intelligence in all life.
