“At Female Engineering, we are on a mission: to make everyday life for women better by finding solutions to real needs.”
About Female Engineering
Female Engineering is a Swedish femtech brand by Lindex with over 70 years of experience in underwear and knowledge about the female body that constantly strives to innovate women-focused products. Their mission: solve real needs to make everyday life better for women.
How does it work?
It’s all powered by Engineered Leak Tech™: a system of carefully designed layers that work together to keep you protected.

“Periods are part of everyday life for half the population, yet performance apparel has rarely accounted for them.”

How long can I wear it?
The period panties have gone through extensive testing and can be worn for up to twelve hours. In case you go for a high absorbency on a medium flow day for example, it can often be worn for even longer.
Panty absorbency guide:
-Medium: 20 ml (≈ 2 tampons/pads)
-High: 40 ml (≈ 4 tampons/pads)
For reference, the average total menstrual fluid loss per cycle is around 35 ml.
Wear, wash, and wear again. And again.
1. Rinse in cold water.
After you’ve worn them, rinse the panties in cold water until the water runs clear and then wash at max 40 °C.
2. Wash at 40° C. Skip the softener.
Use a separate laundry bag to give your panties some extra care. And yes, you can wash your period panties with the rest of your clothes.
3. Hang to dry inside out. Skip the dryer.
Period underwear love fresh air and prefer to be hung up to dry inside out.
