Outstanding pants, but size guide runs large in the waist!

"The Aenergy Light SO pants are phenomenal: ultralight, breathable, extremely stretchy, and with a true athletic cut through the legs. The availability of the "Short" inseam option is great and fits without any bunching over mountain footwear. However, be cautious with the sizing chart. Based on my actual waist measurement (~83 cm), the site recommended a size 48 / 32 (M). When it arrived, the waist was far too roomy (about 4 fingers of slack) and, since these pants feature an elastic drawcord waistband without belt loops, it couldn't be cinched properly without heavily bunching up. I returned them and sized down to a 46 / 30 (S), which fits much better. If you are between sizes or prefer a snug, secure fit on the hips, consider sizing down. Top-tier technical gear, but the sizing advice needs adjustment."
