Payment

You can pay for your order in the Mammut online shop conveniently by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Visa Electron and Maestro) or PayPal.

Credit cards:
To ensure maximum security, your credit card details are encrypted using the SSL protocol before being transmitted. When you place an order, we reserve the purchase amount on your credit card. The sum is not deducted until the goods are dispatched. We use 3-D Secure for credit card payments. 3-D Secure is a process used to ensure additional safety for online credit card transactions. It was developed by VISA and is used for the Verified by Visa service and Mastercard SecureCode. 3-D Secure is intended to reduce the risk of fraud. When 3-D Secure is used for your order, a connection to the card issuer is created and you are then asked to confirm your identity by means of a password or by authentication on a smartphone. If the authentication is successful, the credit card payment will be processed.

PayPal:
If you select PayPal as the payment method, you will then be asked to log in to your PayPal account and confirm the payment. The purchase amount is simply reserved when you place the order. The sum will only be debited from your PayPal account when the goods are dispatched.

Pay by invoice (the Netherlands only):
In cooperation with Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden, we offer you the following payment method: Pay by invoice: The payment period is 14 days from shipment of the goods. Payment is to be made to Klarna. You can find the complete terms and conditions for the markets where this payment method is available here: the Netherlands The payment methods Pay in [14] days, Slice It and direct debit are only available in case of a positive credit assessment. For this purpose, during the order process and handling of your purchase, we forward your data for an address and credit check to Klarna. We can only offer you the payment methods available based on the result of the credit check. iDEAL (the Netherlands only):
We will be debit the total value of your order immediately when you complete the order.

Credit cards/Debit card: Your credit card or debit card will be reserved with the total value of your order. With the authorization from the card issuer, we will debit the total amount when the order is dispatched.
* Your payment with card has been declined and you are unable to complete the transaction. Please check the following reasons.
-You may have entered some information incorrectly.
-You may have reached your credit limit. We recommend contacting your card issuer to check the limit.
-If your reason is none of the above, our Customer Service team is happy to support you. However, we cannot access the details of your bank account or your card.
* Your purchase was denied, but you still have a pending authorization on your card.
If your purchase was not successful, any hold placed on your payment card will be released automatically. Depending on your card issuer, it may take a number of days for this to be reflected on your account.
* When your order is partly or fully cancelled, the reserved amount will be released immediately.

Paypal: We will reserve the total value of your order. With the authorization from Paypal, we will debit the total amount when the order is dispatched.
* When your order is partly or fully cancelled, the reserved amount will be released immediately.

iDEAL: We will be debit the total value of your order immediately when you complete the order.
Part or full cancellation by Mammut: The item value or order value will be refunded to your iDEAL account.

Refunds are made after the returned goods have been received and checked.
You will receive an email informing you when the credit has been issued. It is possible that it may take some time for the refund to appear on your statement.

If the refund amount is incorrect, please contact our Customer Service team via chat, phone or email, we will resolve the matter as a priority.

Credit/debit cards: Refunds are paid to the credit card used to pay for the order. This also applies to bank accounts and credit cards. Please ensure this card is valid at the time of your returns.

If your card has been blocked or expired, then the amount will be automatically forwarded by your card issuer to the reference account which you have deposited. Please contact your card issuer for more details.

PayPal: The refund will be made to the PayPal account used to make the payment. If your returns is made more than one month after the purchase, the refund may take more time to appear.

iDEAL: After the credit note is processed, we will refund the amount to your iDEAL account; however in order to receive the refund, please make sure that the limit on your iDEAL account is higher than the purchase amount.

We will send the invoice with all necessary details by e-mail with the shipping confirmation. If ordered via pay by invoice (only available in the Netherlands) you will also receive the payment order directly from our partner Klarna. There is no postal dispatch of the invoice.
If you want to receive an invoice for your order in pdf format, please contact our Customer Service team via chat, phone or email. Be sure to include your order number when contacting us.
* Request amendments on your invoice: the invoice is automatically generated with the order details and it cannot be changed. Therefore, please ensure to use the correct information when placing your order.
