Il leggero Smart 2.0 da 80 grammi è facile da utilizzare e non ha parti mobili o leve.
Poiché funziona secondo il principio del tubo, lo Smart 2.0 è quindi adatto sia per l'arrampicata in testa che per l'arrampicata in top rope.
In caso di caduta, lo Smart 2.0 blocca la corda da arrampicata, con il nuovo inserto frenante ad alta performance che interagisce con il moschettone di assicurazione. Offre quindi all'assicuratore un supporto ottimale e una sicurezza significativamente migliorata.

Good beginner setup, or…
"All the components of this kit are good quality. I’ve been in and around sport climbing for almost 20 years now and can see the value in this kit, especially when teaching someone the basics of belay.
It’s very difficult to accidentally leave the carabiner gate open due to the swing arm lock, and the orientation is the same. It’s just obvious when it’s not done correctly.
Further, the belay device (and backup) make it difficult to allow a dangerously fast descent. It’s very good in preventing panic in newbies. I also liked it when acting as belay for long periods of time as it helped stave off fatigue.
My only minor gripe is the size. It’s just big. If you’re planning g on keeping this handy on your belt while playing around for the day on the wall, I’d suggest a smaller BRD, but for it’s intended purpose, I’m not disappointed."
