What you wanted to be when you grew up?

Football was my passion as a child, so a pro player.

A moment you'll never forget

The lead final at the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo. I had already locked in gold, just wanted to give it my all, and was finally able to chalk up one of my personal best performances on the wall. An example of how narrow the difference between success and failure in sports can be.

What you love most about climbing

The variety. I've been climbing more than half my life and I know I'll never run out of challenges.

Hold on to your passion and focus, but don’t lose sight of the bigger picture. Aside from training, sporting success also depends on a happy foundation. Don't forget to invest in other areas of your life to support your endeavors.
