This is my opinion after using them
"This is my opinion after using the Mammut Girun Hike Low GTX for a couple of months. They are lightweight, reliable hiking shoes with solid GORE‑TEX protection. I like their clean, minimal look without unnecessary plastic decorations — the design is simple, functional and not flashy. The classic lacing is also a plus. On the trail they perform well: the grip on wet rocks is strong, and the front of the sole transmits the texture of stones very clearly, especially with thin socks. This actually helps when crossing streams on rocks or climbing small boulders because you feel the surface better and place your steps more precisely. The main downside is that the outsole wears down quite quickly on asphalt, which definitely needs improvement — my previous shoes from competing brands showed noticeably slower wear in the same conditions. It would also be useful if the branding or details used reflective paint, so you’re more visible in low‑light conditions. For 80 € they’re still a very good deal, especially for light hiking and wet conditions. The service and delivery were excellent. I’ll update my review once I wear them out, with photos showing how they hold up over time."
