Local Legends: Unapologetically Lindsey Hamm

Getting married and having kids? Yeah… no. Lindsey Hamm never followed the Texan handbook for a “decent life.” Instead, she became an ice climber, mountain guide, and full-time mold-breaker. Her lifestyle is all about freedom, wilderness, and fun, but it’s also marked by loss, grief, and a fractured foot. And still, Lindsey pulls on her short leo tights, grabs her pack, and fires punchlines at life while roping up for her next ice climb. Her home isn’t pinned to a map – it lives in the people she’s lost, the ones she climbs for, and the joy of being unapologetically herself.
“I love my parents because they never told me to stop. And they just let me be wild and free.” —Lindsey Hamm

What Local Legends Wear
Worn by the climbers in the film series, the Eiger Extreme 6.0 collection is made for those who feel most alive in the wildest places — and closest to home on ice.
Local Legends: A film series about feeling at home on ice
For some, home is linked to a cup of tea and a good book. For others, it’s hanging in a couloir on an ice tool, balancing on two little front points. In this film series, four professional alpinists invite us to understand why being in wild extreme environments makes them feel at ease – all while projecting their climbing routes close to their home.
