Ideal for day trips, not so much for long, cold trips

"The material and weight is ideal for clean shoveling and leveling for snow pits and snow analysis, but I have found some issues while winter camping where most of the locking mechanisms on the shoveling either froze or showed their flimsy construction to a point where I couldn’t use the telescopic handle after 2 days at -20 Overall okay build, functionality and weight but lacks in more hardcore conditions."

Super light and efficient shovel.

"Super light and efficient shovel. Works great and adds very little weight to my pack while touring."

Good Shovel.

"Only used it a few time in bounds so far to test it and build jumps. Packs fine, easy to deploy and doesn’t seem too heavy. Only grip is that there is enough play in the handle that when extending, if you twist the handle at all it will miss the catch and completely come apart. Not a super big deal but in a stressful situation could be a problem. Over all for the price it’s definitely worth it."
