Bomb proof ski shell

"Bought the Eiger Free Pro hard shell in M for skiing. Absolutely love the fit, finish, and look. At 180cm/5'11"at 79kg/175lb, I was worried it would a bit tight but is perfect (chest measure at 102cm/40in). Turns out it fits a base layer the Eiger Nordwand Light puffer under perfectly. I have full range of motion with it. The waist tapers just enough to seal around the hips without necessarily needing thr powder skirt. The hood works well and easily adjustable witg ot without a helmet. The zipper comes high enough to hide half your face from the weather, even when in a tuck. Very well through. I wish thr internal dump pockets were a little more voluminous. The only two nit pics I have with it are the wrist "gaiters". I wish they had a thumb loop. As designed (a short ring) they are not suited for tucking into gloves, and not enough to seal around your wrist. The other is the arm holes sit a little high so if you have large lats, it can be a little tight there."
