"The Mammut Runbold Guide SO Pants hit the mark perfectly when it comes to a comfortable, fantastic fit. They offer good breathability on the move, though they don't dump heat quite as exceptionally as Mammut's Runbold IV pants. Unfortunately, I was surprised to notice fabric pilling on the upper thighs after just the very first use. At this premium price point, that kind of immediate wear is a real letdown and definitely not what you expect from a high-end brand."

The only grumble I have are the compact front pockets, which has been echoed by other customers. Compared to the deep and robust front pockets of the Runbold Guide SO Winter Pants this is immediately noticeable. All other features are top quality, as always."
