Great Kit for backcountry

"Great beacon shovel probe, beacon is super easy to use, I have the Barryvox s for work and yes the standard Barryvox is missing some features, but for a modern 3 antenna easy to use beacon, nothing can beat it. The probe is standard easy to store away and deploy. Shovel is nice and light, I would want something a little larger if I was digging pits all the time or digging out sleds, but it works very well for the weight and size. Just a great package for recreational ski touring, you can trust all of this gear without any concerns in a companion rescue."

I’ve been using this product

"I’ve been using this product for about a year now, and it’s been awesome. While I haven’t had to rely on it in an actual avalanche scenario, I use it regularly for backcountry practice and for building jumps, and it’s performed great every time. It’s reliable, easy to use, and has become a solid part of my setup."

I love the beacon and

"I love the beacon and probe every time I use them, the shovel blade is a touch small and heavy compared to some of Mammuts other offerings."

— Shea D. (4/5)

Great so far!

"I've had this set for a year, and it has held up as promised. The long probe and decent shovel are great for quick rescues, and the transceiver is one of the best transceivers on the market - its intuitive, fast, and has a long range! Everyone will find this great, except for maybe professionals who might want a bigger feature set."

Nice package. Gives you everything

i dont know why anyone

"i dont know why anyone would spend more than they have to on avy gear. this will absolutely do the trick. fantastic, easy to use beacon too. you can spend a hundred dollars more on a package with a lighter shovel but lighter means less surface area and honestly just suck it up and carry an extra 100 grams. this is the package for you"
