These check almost all the boxes

"I wore these pants while training for Rainier and on the climb. I love how comfortable they are, the pockets, the material (especially thicker material around the ankles for protection against crampons for ice climbing), it's got a waterproof coating, but the length is where I downgrade these pants. They aren't suitable for shorties, I found myself needing to either constantly adjust them or find a way to keep the legs from dragging. If you typically fit a normal pant inseam then these will be great for you."

"Eine super bequeme Hose. Hat mich auf meiner Reise bestens begleitet. Passt sehr gut und durch den Klettverschluss als "Gürtelersatz" ist sie super leicht in der Taille zu verstellen. Ich liebe es."

“Comfortable, flexible, and perfect for movement”

"I started mountaineering at 48. As a woman, I heard it all “you’re too old to start. ” I didn’t listen. But I did learn very quickly that gear quality matters. I don’t play around with gear, comfort and reliability are everything to me. And Mammut delivered exactly what I need. I wore my Mammut Taiss SO Pants on several high altitude mountains like Izta and Iliniza North, and honestly… they were amazing. Strong protection from wind and cold, yet still comfortable and easy to move in. The fit feels secure and just right, which gave me real confidence during the climb. I’m definitely taking them with me to my next dream mountains “Gran Paradiso and Mont Blan”🤩 When it really matters, I trust Mammut."

Very sturdy

"Wore them a number of times by now and they are great. Perfect amount of stretch, good length. Holds up well in washes. Got my usual USA size and Mammut pants are always a little tight for me around the thigh area, but it stretches and this makes it good for precise moves in bouldering. Good for warm to cool weather, would be too hot for summer heat."

Great mountaineering trousers

"Bought these in addition to regular hiking pants, target at mountaineering in summer we will be doing in Swiss and French Alps. Tested them already in about -10 in winter I Slovakia (with merino base layer). Seem very robust and are harness compatible which is what we needed. Love the fact that there are various sizes and lengths+ something that is not available in other brands (I chosen short and it's perfect)"
