"The zippered outer seam on the full length of the legs add versatility to these pants. The over all lining is warm and comfortable. With the zippered outer seams the legs can be opened to add room for a heavier base layer in colder temperatures. Four zippered pockets a plus also. The only improvement I could think of would be adding a couple more belt loops. I think they would fit more comfortably around the waist. That being said I’d still give it a 5*"

"These are wonderful for what I need - PNW shoulder season mountaineering. I tend to run hot and so the side zips are a gamechanger, especially as the material is thicker (and more durable) than other hybrid pants I've tried."
