Combined with a recycled wind-repellent outer fabric, this cozy layer offers the protection you need while marking an important step towards a more circular economy, and responsible production with the lowest possible impact on the environment.

Lightweight, breathable, and reliable even when wet, Mammut LOOPINSULATION jackets are built with 100% recycled insulation from industrial rope production offcuts and recycled PET. Made to keep warmth close through shifting temperatures.
Polyester-based rope offcuts from industrial rope production are gathered – materials that would otherwise be discarded.
Transforming materials
These offcuts are then untangled into single strands which are brushed together and combined with recycled plastic.
Creating insulation
The end result is fluffy polyester sheet padding and cluster fill, which creates warming insulation for our jackets.
