Great belt for hiking
"I like the firmness of the material used in the belt. The plastic "buckle" mechanism is easy to use and I had never had it release unexpectedly. The width just fits on my pants/shorts (Fjallraven) but the strap keeper adds just enough bulk to make it necessary to attach the belt before I put on the clothing.
The belt is a universal length and for my 34-35 " waist, there is ALOT of extra length. , enough that I may cut it to size."

Wie öffne ich die Kunststoff-Schnalle, um das Gurtband wieder zu fixieren? Also nicht den Teil, der eingefahren wird, um den Gürtel zu schliessen.

das machst du so, wie dus mit einer Schnalle bei einem Rucksack (Hüft- oder Brustgurt) auch machst. Einfach die beiden Teile wieder auseinander klicken.

Will this belt keep ones pants up? I’ve been thinking of getting suspenders, but they are a pain. I’ve never worn an elasticized belt before, only leather. Does it work?

ja, der Alpine Belt ist grössenverstellbar. Die Grössenverstellung ist hier etwas anders gelöst (ähnlich wie beim Rucksackträger). Man zieht das Band einfach soweit bis es passt.
