Good lightweight pants for hiking and climbing
"I really like the material of these pants. It is lightweight and stretchy, allowing for freedom of movement while hiking and climbing. The pockets are also deep enough to fit a phone, and I like that they are all zippered to keep items in place while in motion. I agree with other reviews to size up. I’m 5’2” with a 27” waist and normally wear a 4. I bought these in a 6, and they fit like a glove. While I almost worried they were too tight when I first tried them on, the material allows for plenty of stretch. The Velcro waist band is interesting. It does reduce bulk under a harness, though I find it doesn’t hold the pants in place as well as a belt or drawstring, and the pants start to ride a little low after constant movement. For that reason, I wish the waist was a little bit higher. I’m overall happy with these pants so far, though, and looking forward to taking them on more adventures."
